HISPALYT ARCHITECTURE AWARD 2023-2025 – VII TEJA – SUSTAINABILITY FINALIST
The proposal provides continuity to the series of gabled-roof houses that are added in a descending sequence along the streets perpendicular to the Esporles stream. The building is composed of two clearly differentiated volumes that frame a large wooded interior courtyard and mark the deep access from the street. [1]
All housing units are oriented North-South, following the direction of the Esporles torrent, which marks the orientation of the prevailing winds crossing the Serra de Tramuntana.
