As a leading player in clay roof tiles and eco-housing, we are constantly reaffirming our desire to develop with a vision for the future, offering roofing solutions that combine performance, innovation and sustainability.
For the fourth year running, the publication of our new CSR report bears witness to this ambition. Whatever the context, our Group is determined to pursue its ambitious strategy of innovation and investment, to make progress on our sustainability commitments and meet your expectations, as well as those of society and our environment.
The year 2024 marks a new stage in this collective and committed journey, with:
- A clear improvement in our health and safety results, with a remarkable level of commitment from each and every one of you, in all our subsidiaries, testifying to a cultural change at all levels, supported by continuous, concrete and positive modes of mobilization in the field.
- The gradual decarbonization of our industrial facilities and the announcement of a major technological breakthrough with our engineering subsidiary Ceritherm. Deployed at our Saint-Germer-de-Fly site, this innovation has reduced our gas consumption by 33%, saving 1,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions. It is the result of 15 years of research and development, an investment of 10 million euros, and a testament to our ability to turn an R&D project into an industrial reality.
- Further consolidation of our technical and administrative solutions for the eco-housing sector, with the official launch of our Solar Pass: a comprehensive, personalized program designed to support our roofing customers in starting up their solar business.
- Another step forward in the recognition of our commitments, with new Ecovadis medals for all our subsidiaries. Awarded Platinum and Gold medals, Edilians Tech and Edilians SAS are now among the Top 1% and 5% of companies assessed by the organization. Our Iberian subsidiaries also received their first medals: Silver for Umbelino Monteiro and Tejas Borja, and Bronze for La Escandella.
With a CSR policy that is fully in line with our business model and strategy, Edilians Group is giving itself the means to achieve its ambition: to build a solid, resilient group for the future, a group that is true to its values and committed to the sustainable transformation of housing.
