Two Projects Featuring Tejas Borja Roof Tiles Recognised at the 2023–2025 Brick and Roof Tile Architecture Awards

On 4 June, Madrid’s House of Architecture hosted the official awards ceremony for the 2023–2025 Brick and Roof Tile Architecture Awards, organised by Hispalyt. This prestigious event recognises projects that explore new architectural possibilities through the use of ceramic building materials.

Following the announcement of the shortlisted projects, the ceremony revealed the winners across the different categories, highlighting architectural quality, innovation and commitment to sustainability.

At Tejas Borja, we are proud to share that two of the award-winning projects incorporated our ceramic roofing solutions.

The Ca’n Gallineta project, a detached single-family home located in Manacor (Mallorca), received the New Build Award.

Designed by OAM – Oficina d’Arquitectura a Mallorca, the project stands out for its careful integration into the surrounding landscape and for an architectural approach that successfully combines traditional construction techniques with contemporary design. The ceramic roof plays a key role in the project, contributing both to its architectural identity and its technical performance.

Celebrating Ceramic Architecture

The Brick and Roof Tile Architecture Awards organised by Hispalyt recognise the work of architects and practices that continue to embrace ceramic materials as a means of delivering quality, durability and architectural value.

For Tejas Borja, it is a privilege to contribute to projects that help shape contemporary architecture and demonstrate the enduring relevance of ceramic roof tiles as a construction solution for innovative and sustainable buildings.

We would like to congratulate all the architects and project teams behind the award-winning projects and thank them for placing their trust in our roofing solutions. We would also like to thank Hispalyt for its continued commitment to promoting excellence and innovation in ceramic architecture.
