TEJAS BORJA HAS BEEN AWARDED BY THE VALENCIA’S CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND AS PER DECISION OF THE JURY WITH THE 2009 PRIZE T
Tejas Borja founded in 1899 has remained up to now the family nature of the Company, the fifth generation is today in charge, and also is original purpose and activity; the manufacturing of construction materials. Leader in the roof tile ceramic industry, Tejas Borja has a branch office in The United States.
In 2008 more than 12.2 € million were released for sale (commercialized) by Tejas Borja in more than 74 countries, which represents 38,20% of the general billing of the Company. With a staff of 334 people, this percentage around the export progress has increased gradually over the Company’s global sales year by year.
It has been 37 years now in 2009 when the Chamber of Commerce, back in 1973, announced the first edition of the Prize to The Exports as it was named in those days. This award was renamed Prize to the Internationalization in 2005.
The purpose of the prize is focused in rewarding the effort of the companies in the Valencia Community in the opening, expanding, or reinforcing their international structure and operative as a key factor in becoming competitive in any matter.
