Tejas Borja reinforces its commitment to Health and Safety in the Workplace

For yet another year, Tejas Borja has demonstrated its firm commitment to safety and occupational risk prevention by providing its team with specialised training in innovative techniques and solutions for risk prevention in the workplace.

On the 19th of September, as part of the Safety & CSR Day 2024 event, a day was held at our facilities that demonstrates Edilians Group’s ongoing commitment to creating and promoting a safe, healthy and sustainable working environment. This annual event is not only an opportunity to reflect on the importance of safety, but also to strengthen internal ties and foster a culture of prevention that protects all employees.

The day was held at our facilities, where for 4 hours, our team participated in various workshops designed to address key aspects of safety and wellbeing in the workplace and to strengthen the pillars of responsibility of the group.

The workshops covered topics such as:

  • Driving safety: Strategies to reduce risks in transport and mobility.
  • Taking care of physical well-being: Practices to preserve physical health and prevent injuries in the workplace.
  • CSR in action: How to integrate corporate social responsibility into everyday life.
  • Breaking down barriers: Initiatives to promote inclusion and a real understanding of the importance of risk prevention.
  • Risks and hazards in everyday life: Identifying and managing common risk situations in the workplace.
  • The five vital rules: Essential principles to ensure the safety of the whole team at work.

Through these activities, the company encourages teamwork by taking advantage of this opportunity to learn, share experiences and improve their skills in risk prevention. The day also included the collaboration of external specialists, whose experience greatly enriched the activity. Among them, we highlight Sara Ruiz Navarrete, from the Centro de Psicología Clínica y de la Salud de Valencia, who addressed key issues related to emotional well-being at work; Francisco Canes Domenech, from the Fundación de Apoyo a Víctimas de Accidentes (Association for the Support of Accident Victims), who contributed his vision on the importance of road awareness; and Teresa Quintana García, from Quirónprevención, who shared valuable knowledge in the field of occupational risk prevention.

We appreciate the participation of the entire team involved in this event, as well as the collaboration of the experts who accompanied us. Thanks to everyone’s dedication and effort, we continue to make progress in creating a safer working environment, prioritising the most valuable thing we have: our human team.

The protection of each person who is part of Tejas Borja is and will continue to be our top priority.
